Why is it that some populations of New York Stock Exchange are not traded in the hours before the opening?
Sometimes I realize that some populations of NYSE trading in the hours before the opening between 7:00 am and 9:30 am and others not, even when its good news before the opening markets. Why are some NYSE stocks to be changed in the early hours and some do not move until 9:30 am? Thank you.
I do not know for sure, but can be because there is too much margin between the purchase and the buyer and seller and can not come together. I have tried to buy stocks after several hours of negotiation, but was unable my offer price.
